The name of this organization is the “Washington State Retired Deputy Sheriffs and Police Officers Association.”
The purpose of this Association shall be to create and establish a fraternal and/or social organization and monitor existing pension laws, improve existing pension laws and to secure equitable and adequate pension benefits from the State of Washington as they pertain to police officers, deputy sheriffs, their surviving spouses and beneficiaries.
